78 year old Dr. Urban: 50 years on raw food and his plans for the future (part2) #173

www.TheRawInspiration.com I was so honored to have Dr. Walter Urban on this show, as he not only shares his wisdom about a simple raw food diet, but also what else is important to stay young, fit and healthy. In this second part he also shares hiw visions for his future which are not what you might think they are…. He amazed me with an open and sharp mind and is a true source of inspiration to me. After talking with Walter today, I am so looking forward to become old and stay young. For more information about Dr. Walter Urban I invite you to have a look at http

www.rawsynergy.com Here’s what I eat on an average day on the 80 diet. It varies depending on the season but this is what it’s been like lately. Sometimes, instead of romaine lettuce I’ll have spinach. I also include celery and red bell pepper in my diet. And, sometimes I’ll have my favorite – zucchini pasta with marinara sauce or romaine chips and salsa! Link for calorie intake (This is a PDF file) www.30bananasaday.com

  5. leahcimrac says:

@pokahontaP Just do your best, thats all anyone can do.

  6. pokahontaP says:

    @leahcimrac thanks :)

  7. leahcimrac says:

@pokahontaP Eatting Raw Foods from supermarkets is 100 times better than eatting processed food. Try to get as much organic food as you can and make sure you wash any food that isn’t.

  8. LuonnonTyttarista says:

ohh God, such an inspiration!! thanks a lot!!! Hugs and kisses for our 78 yrs hero! :)

  9. motoxbuddy says:

    great

  10. MyHealthierMe says:

MANY of Dr.Walter’s generation are STUCK in a conditioning (obsolete truths of health). Thus most of them, unfortunately are NOT vibrant & alive in the manner that Dr.Walter is. Sadly they are in dis-ease & have little mental clarity; they are no longer truly alive. A high raw organic vegan lifestyle with daily green juice has the potential to bring these dying people out of that awful zombie-like state and into what you see in Dr.Walter (high frequency ~ life). You are all beautiful :) Peace

  11. GabyBRR says:

Very Beautiful and Inspiring interview!! Thank you again Ka!! :D <3<3 Peace

  12. ERICWAGNERSLUCID says:

Blood Type is crucial to eating habits.

  13. kittybeeify says:

@pokahontaP I agree that one benefits from the diet if they live in a warm climate where they can enjoy fresh fruits and veg year round. Ani Phyo admitted that a raw diet didn’t completely sustain her during a Portland, OR, winter. She needed to add cooked foods. I ate raw foods all summer and now feel I need to add more cooked as the temperature drops.

  14. pokahontaP says:

Its ok with living in warm countries. But what about north countries? Do we have to buy veggies and fruits in supermarkets? They have chemicals to stay longer… what do you suggest? :)

  15. 1964parakeet says:

I am just starting my raw food journey (4 months now) but already feel the difference. I know that, as I continue on this path, my energy will increase to levels I’ve not experienced before. This man, you Ka and your family are all inspirations to me. I am truly grateful for this!!

  16. OpenMind00 says:

@rawfoodfamilylife I completely agree with your statement. He is a 78 year old man who is vibrant, healthy, sharp, full of life and energy. What a beam of light his spirit is emanating.

  17. southrncalifgirl1 says:

He is almost 80. He is in FANTASTIC condition! Living life to the fullest. : ) Since he’s learning about organic farming, he probably lived a more traditional life previously. He has SUCH a beautiful, young wife. : ) It would be so wonderful to participate at his school…

  18. totallyrawsometvshow says:

i bet he feels great but he does look his age but healthy, a bit thin but healthy.

  19. chelojelo says:

@rawfoodfamilylife I do believe he feels healthy and good, because he says he does. But as far as his looks go, I think he looks his age. That is what i don’t understand. But maybe it is just me!

I love your Raw Inspirational TV Show! Thank you, Ka, for introducing Dr Urbab to us. I have weakened my bone eating cooked food which was acidic for the last 60 years, I just completed my one year eating raw food, 3 to 4 kgs of fruits and 1 kg of vegetables a day. The bone cells take 25 to 30 years to renew. Yes, keep breathing, take one step at a time, and I look forward to have a set of strong bone again when I am 85 to 90 years young. Wow, soooo inspiring!

  21. fkoti says:

What an inspirational video, I think he is a perfect example of being in the world but not of it when he talks about having a foot on the spiritual world and one in the material world. To me this is the most important balance to realize that the world we live in is just a small fraction of what we are. To live long and healthy positive attitude is the essence. Love and Light.

  22. chelojelo says:

I’ve been wondering about this for awhile. I see people who have been on the raw food diet for years, like this guy, and they actually look their age. I thought this diet was supposed to make people actually be younger?

  23. shalomshushan says:

love it! thank you for introducing us to Dr. Walter! he is amazing…wow!

  24. irynkablessed says:

Great video and great person! Raw food is just the part of healthy life, the other part is healthy attitude.

  25. zelda127 says:

What type of Sapote is that? Never heard of that fruit before. Can you get it at Whole Foods Market?

  26. rawsynergytv says:

@Spies152 Everything shown in this video is what I would eat in a day not one meal. Although I do eat a lot more than this these days. It can take anywhere from a half hour to an hour to eat a meal depending on the size. To increase the volume of food, I just started adding a little bit more at each meal & very slowly increased the amounts over the course of weeks or months by only a few bites. Eventually, eating more becomes easy. Just do it slowly. :0)

  27. Spies152 says:

@rawsynergytv how long will it take you to eat the entire meal.Seems like a lot a food in one sitting.you don´t feel heavy after eating? i can´t eat all that much. I read that some folowers of the 80 10 10 in time can increase amount of food in just one meal.can you tell us your experience on that aspect? Thanks

  28. 9snaker says:

    @nakedboxes
note that I wrote her name wrong in the second time! (it’s SChatalova with C!)

  29. 9snaker says:

    @nakedboxes
yes..but I only have german source (unfortunately)
maybe you can google after a certain name to find some results of your language :)
“Dr. Galina Schatalova” is physician, scientist and raw-food-eater
if you google “physician shatalova” then the first link you find should help :D
(I just found it right now, by accident! xD)

  30. nakedboxes says:

@9snaker I’m confused, are you saying your body doesn’t need many calories to survive?

  31. LluviaEnDesierto3 says:

Wow, thanks for sharing this with us! I’ve been a raw vegan for almost 4 months now and I am feeling SPECTACULR :)
By the way, you look great :)

  32. rawsynergytv says:

@crismartin1982 Actually romaine lettuce has quite a bit of nutrients. It’s high in Vitamin A & K, Folate, B vitamins, Manganese, Potassium, omega 3 & amino acids. Don’t discount it because it really is a good green. :0)

  33. kentcyclist says:

Thank U for your channel. I have terrible digestion and am going to follow your advice

  34. newuncertainty says:

that is definitely not a maintainable diet…persimmons and lettuce?

  35. dawncardinal says:

    Thanks for posting!

  36. vicenteabdala says:

mmm 80/10/10 as i understood was 8 parts green, 1 part sugar and 1 part fat.
you are doing like 9 parts sugar, 0.2 green, and 0.5 fat…

  37. crismartin1982 says:

@rawsynergytv FYI Romaine lettuce has like no nutrients, perhaps replace it with another lettuce or leafy green. Unless you love the taste, or you are eating it for the low calories.

  38. 9snaker says:

The calories-lie again… guys listen: you DON’T need much calories, 500-600 is enough for one day…I’m not even sure if calories are good anyway.

Well, so any diet that tells you to eat less is a friggn LIE! You NEED to eat much, because your body need to have the energy to burn away the fat. It’s just important that you eat the RIGHT things, like shown in the video. I’m just a bit disappointed that leaves weren’t such an important thing in the video, as they normally are. GET YOUR LEAVES! :D

  39. 9snaker says:

    @EurekaRecycler
    S….ooo??? It’s natural fruit-sugar, what’s bad about that?

  40. 9snaker says:

lol toss the prejudices of raw eaters out!
thinking of “pale-white-skinny” people is just dumb! you look great! And I can’t even tell how old you are, cause there’s another one I discovered a few days ago (his name is Markus Rothkranz), who looked sunburnt as well (like you, but a bit too much for me ;-) and not skinny. Great!

  41. 9snaker says:

    @freakishweirdo
human don’t need so much protein. if you have too much (and not doing sports) the body just drop it out and it’s not good for the body, au contraire it’ll be contra-productive

  42. rawsynergytv says:

@KyHo951 That’s a very wise decision because the doctors you describe are going to be the most successful doctors of the future. Many blessings to you for a successful and happy career!

  43. rawsynergytv says:

@infinitewobdrahpa I don’t eat any GMO foods. I buy from farms I know grow their food organically, even if it isn’t certified. There are only a couple foods I eat that aren’t always organic and that’s fair trade bananas and mangoes.

  44. KyHo951 says:

i wish to become a doctor that studies not medicine, but healthy diets rich in fruits and veggies to contribute to a healthy lifestyle for patients

  45. infinitewobdrahpa says:

@rawsynergytv Do you use organic fruits or just the genetically modified junk?

  46. rawsynergytv says:

@freakishweirdo fruits, greens & a small amount of nuts & seeds.

  47. freakishweirdo says:

were do you get your protein from?

  48. rawsynergytv says:

@akwolfsong You’re welcome. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you! :0)
