@jleebesaw I just ran across this video and thus just saw your question. However, you take the total carbs ONLY and subtract the FIBER only. So if there are 22g of total carbs, and 11 g of fiber, your net carbs are 11. Don’t count any other carbs. Hope this helps!!

    Hi everyone,

This is Michael Cory and I was just informed my videos were up on youtube. So if anyone has any questions I will do my best to answer them for you. Atkins Nutritionals may answer for me if I don’t have the answer.

Thank you guys all for watching and stay tuned.

You can trust the net carb count listed on Atkins products. Net carbs are the carbs that impact blood sugar. Fiber, glycerin and sugar alcohols don’t impact blood sugar. The FDA counts glycerin and sugar alcohols as part of total carbs, so the subtraction method doesn’t work in this case. All Atkins products have undergone extensive testing to evaluate their effect on human blood ood sugar levels.

maybe you can help me out with a question. how do they measure net carbs on atkins products. it says 2g net carbs but the label shows 22g carbs with 11g fiber. what else lowers net carb munbers that i dont know about.
