Can I Eat Meat on a Raw Food Diet?

www.eatingforenergy.ca – Can you eat meat while on a raw food diet? That’s a recent question I received and I’ll be answering it in this video. If you want to be successful with raw foods, then you’ll want to watch this video.

Here is the thing. Yes some of these exercises look scary. The first time I saw someone do the one leg squat my reaction was – you have got to be kidding right? Except the person I saw doing it was a 5 year old kid at his Karate lesson. He was competing with his teacher – a buff guy in his 30′s – to see who could crank out the most reps. The 5 year old won by the way. The really important thing to remember is that you have to take on things that look scary now and again and push yourself out of your comfort zone. I know this lady that has an expensive treadmill at home. She walks on it religiously twice a day. It’s great to see her taking the time from her busy day, but when I inquire why she doesn’t try one of our 12 minute workout routines and save herself an hour of walking, she says that she doesn’t like to sweat. So she walks the hours away each day, but she has not improved her fitness level or changed her body composition along the way. Sometimes comfort can be a drag. Usually it just takes a gentle nudge to get people to try something new. There are always ways to “train up” to being able to do anything. Every time we put these tutorial videos together we try and fill them with these nudges – to show you that you can start with the easiest possible variation of an exercise and still get amazing benefits. The trick is to catch yourself from tuning out and getting comfortable when you first encounter something new that looks on the surface to be impossible. If you

I can go on forever. The first item I suggest to anyone to take because, it is better then any multi-vitamin, mineral & omega supplement you will take. It is Phytoplankton. All these element did originate from the ocean long ago. Such as fish where you get your omega oils from, the fish get theirs from Phytoplankton. You are now eliminating the middleman-(>:[mehh..) and getting your few but most main elements from the direct, vital & potent source.

will build it’s own building block around your life style so it can works at it best potential; even if you are over weight or fit. This is one reason why people who are fit can stay fit far easier then one who is out of shape and have been trying to lose weight. You were over weight because you body did not receive certain vitamins or minerals etc.. that it needed to complete it’s cycle. So now it has to improvise.

day in, and day out. (eat different genres of foods as I put it). You body will not build a tolerance for that food, thus depleting the foods true potential. Some may believe my theory is stupid but, I strongly do stand by this. It will help your body by not going in to or getting out of idle mode for immunity, strength and over all well being. I do realize alcohol is not the same to food in general. This is true, however your body is the same. Any diet that will stay within a regular routine

  7. crusadeskates13 says:

couldn’t agree more. I have a theory on dieting. It may sounds…bizarre but it has been working wonders for me. The easiest example I can think of; say you have never drank alcohol before, you will not have a tolerance. However if you keep on drinking day by day, you body naturally build tolerance for any substance..to a certain degree.
So what I am trying to say is by sticking to a healthy diet and not keeping you daily diet similar…

@botanast check out “durianriders” on youtube, watch his vids.
i don’t buy all organic, but my bananas are always organic ya. i buy in bulk too so it’s cheaper + when u buy bulk u always have food to eat and are never hungry and feel like eating crap :)

  9. botanast says:

@trevfrank do u eat only organic fruits & veggies? its kinda expensive im a student so i dont have alot of money to spend ;)

  10. botanast says:

@trevfrank this is interesting. Protein turns into fat? i never knew that. So can u tell me your typical day? what do u eat? how much do you eat per meal? thanks! i think i’ll turn into vegeterian lol)) sounds good!

  11. trevfrank says:

@botanast considering all fruits and vegetables are have small amounts of amino acids and are all complete proteins (google it) and considering i only eat fruits and vegetables and LOTS of em, I get 8-12% of my calories from protein. every sports nutritionist and health scientist recomends getting around 10% of your calories from protein, any more than that is excess and will be converted into fat and places stress on your organs… surprised that natures food provides the perfect amount?

  12. botanast says:

@trevfrank do you get enough of protein ?

  13. trevfrank says:

@botanast that’s cause you’ve probably never tried. i’ve “inspired” many of my meat n potatoe lovin friends to go vegan and some even raw vegan. it’s possible. every animal in nature has no problem gettng the food they are designed to eat. u’d have a hard time tryin to catch a fish, catch a chicken, or a wild bore and them eat it right then and there RAW.

apples, mangoes, blueberries, kiwi’s…so easy to catch and eat right there on the spot, raw.

  14. botanast says:

@trevfrank its just not for me, i cant live without beef, chicken and fish

  15. trevfrank says:

@botanast cuz you’ll be happier, have more energy, better karma, weigh less, go faster, feel and look cleaner, not have any body odor…just a few reasons…oh and not needlessly take the lives of OTHER animals for the sake of taste

  16. botanast says:

@trevfrank u r going to die anyways…. whats the point of not eating meat…

  17. trevfrank says:

@botanast meat sucks the life out of animals and the consumers

  18. botanast says:

    @trevfrank u suck

  19. trevfrank says:

lol “a good piece of meat”
no such thing as good murder in my opinion.
good video though keep em coming…

the answer to the title of this video is: No.

I was somewhat moved to become a raw foodist, but not anymore. I’m only 5.0 and weight 105lbs and I feel that I need to gain more weight. I no longer feel like I need to eat ONLY raw foods. I am currently eating eggs, cheese and fish in addition to my vegetarian , and plus trying to gain a little more weight. I don’t think I can do that just eating raw foods. Please let me know if I’m wrong.

  21. Dustin212112 says:

    Hi Zuzana,
I just wanted to let you know how much you are impacting my workouts. I was stuck in an exercise rut, and I started doing your workouts 2 months ago. To date, I have already lost 12 pounds, and gained so much more confidence in my routines.
I tried this workout in the gym today, and I just want to let you know that I had guys lining up and staring at me from outside the studio. One of them came up to me and said, “We were all staring to see if you could finish it…YOU ROCK!” :-)

  29. nsbank says:

Hi, quick question your pure protein and vegetable diet – I work long hours and most nights don’t have the time to prepare + cook fresh vegetables. Would tinned vegetables be acceptable in this case?

When I quizzed my doctor she recommended as a light snack a small can of vegetables mixed with a small can of tuna flakes but I’m concerned about any additives/sweetners they may use in them.

It might not be as nice as fresh vegetables but would be better for nights where I get in late from work.

  30. tonycatman says:

I don’t understand how you can be in such amazing shape when you only do 10 minutes exercise per day.

At the most, you are burning 100 calories.

Still – one of the best arses I have ever seen. Best abs too.

  31. MissSugarize says:

one workout per day is enough for 5 times carbs a day?(veggies and protein in every meal)
