@PERAGR0 That’s more than enough protein.

250 dates in a 5kg box, I counted them lol

  6. NightGodess80 says:

Hmm this seems interesting. I really want to try the all banana thing for a week, and you said you do not get sick of the fruit despite eating only that one fruit for the whole week?

  7. PERAGR0 says:

@nextinline777 For example, 20 large bananas contain about 2,500 calories, yet only 30 grams of protein.

  8. PERAGR0 says:

@nextinline777 Protein is simply a chain of amino acids, be it from an animal or plant source. It certainly isn’t a myth. I understand “living” plant foods contain protein. My concern was getting enough each day by eating the fruit diet the woman in the video speaks about. I’d think you’d need to spend a lot of time eating each day to acheive that, and that it’d be nearly impossible to do without exceeding the amount of calories your body is able to burn before storing it as fat.

  9. nextinline777 says:

@PERAGR0 Amino acids are used for protein. Theres more usuable protein in living foods than meat. Protein is a myth bud.

  10. PERAGR0 says:

How does your body deal with the lack of protein in your diet? I’m not trolling, I think the human body is incredibly adaptable and can survive and even thrive on all kinds of diets, but I don’t understand how this is sustainable.

@jdhzr that also depends on what region you live in… the colder areas don’t have local produce all year long for obvious reasons. where i live, in milwaukee, wisconsin produce is expensive even when its NOT organic. but you’re right about the bulk amounts… i have a place i go to where i buy in bulk and it’s SO much cheaper. i don’t know if its organic or not, but im unemployed so i do what i can with what i got! :)

Hi Freelea! I was wondering if it is alright for kids to do the mono fruit island for 5-6 days I sometimes am fatigued and I am a dancer and just don’t have the energy to dance. I would love to go raw vegan as I love fruits and veggies, so would this be safe and what fruit would be best to start with!

  13. nickorization says:

@Freelea Understood, but it is important to stress the one month part, which you did, and I missed.. anyways, in all general sense I forgot to wrote that you are doing amazing work, and I’ve been sending your videos to educate many of my health-concerned-self-starving friends (admittingly most of them are girls)

  14. Freelea says:

@mikekarena Yes my blood sugar is great, I have tested. Remember when we eat (or drink), our blood-sugar levels rise, causing the pancreas to produce insulin. Excess fat in the bloodstream is the problem when it comes to insulin resistance, not sugar. When fat levels in the blood rise, so does blood sugar, because excess fat inhibits insulin doing its thang and escorting sugar out of the bloodstream. Take out the excess fat and the sugar can enter the cell no problems and no blood sugar issues.

  15. Freelea says:

@nickorization No it’s not problematic eating this way for a month because more vitamins and minerals are made available for assimilation due to the simplicity of just one type of fruit. Also our absorption becomes optimised. If you eat enough of one type of fruit like bananas you will be covering all your bases no problem. Of course this isn’t a diet forever but remember its a MILLION times healthier than 99.9% of the population eats so their diets are where your concern should lie.

  16. nickorization says:

hmm if you eat for a month only one type of fruit, isn’t it problematic in case of Vitamins and Iron (I don’t think I’ve heard of a fruit that holds them all)?

  17. nickorization says:

@poker26000 personally I can say that since turning Vegan my teeth have never been whiter!

  18. mikekarena says:

Hi Freelea. Love the videos. Do you ever worry about an increased fructose level reaching your blood from an all fruit diet? Any chance of insulin resistance after being on this diet long term (>5 years)? Out of curiosity, have you ever checked your blood sugar level during a week of a just fruit diet?

    Thanks!
    Mike

  19. mctantrum says:

@Freelea Thanks so much Lea, I really appreciate your help :) x

  20. Freelea says:

@poker26000 definitely not! Ripe fruit sugar is good for teeth!

  21. Freelea says:

@mctantrum Totally have as much fruit as you can. Its the excess fat in the blood that causes candida outbreaks not the sugars fault because its trapped in the blood by the fat. I cleared up my systemic candida eating just bananas.

  22. jdhzr says:

@natureasintended Thanks for the pointer. From my recent experience, Organic fruit in season isn’t expensive at all especially if you buy from farmers markets and in bulk amounts =)

  23. mctantrum says:

I’m prone to Candida (the female problem :( should I avoid fruit as much as possible or is that misinformation? Thanks for any help.

Boobs are also something amazing called… MAMMORY GLANDS! I mean, HOLY SHIZ! Naw, we women just feed our babys with magical nipple nutrients… YEAH! Btw luv ur video ;3

  25. Bonobogelo says:

@Freelea Peace Freelea, I have what seems to be an issue on my hands. I often hear you speak of how you eat as much as you please. I’m transitioning as of now. However, I’m not finding any sound advice anywhere on this issue. I thought i’d ask you. I’m now eating about 2 to 2 12 s/m sized avocados a day w/ ranch dressing.. I know I know, it’s so bad. But If I don’t eat at least 2 w/ ranch, I feel starved. I yield to eating bananas, because they give me severe cramps. What to do? :/
