    Dr. Pompa…..I like your idea. But I got a question. Why does it take 24 hours to replace the sugar which was burnt in a short burst exercise. For example…..my heart will feel extreme pressure during the workout during the workout but it does take 24 hours to be normal. More over we do eat carbs during this 24 hour period. Why 24-36 hours? Could you please explain?
