correct me if I’m wrong but if you go into a catabolic state, doesn’t that mean your body will store fat more easily, because hormones like cortisol and estrogen are elevated?
Sup Elliot Its Sam Im an atheleate and enjoy powerlifting. Can a powerlifter be extremely ripped like a bodybuilder if he follows up on the diet and still gain strength?
I lost a lot of strength after my fasting day, am i doing something wrong, should I start using bcaa’s, if so how much?

You gave an example of if I eat my last meal Tuesday at 6pm that I cannot eat again until the 24 hour fast is over. Can you tell me what I can eat after the 24 fast is over (like organic chicken broth or herbal tea or leafy salad only) to hold me over until Thursday?

okay, well the weight gain shake I have has about 160g of carbs per serving and 66g of protein, but I usually do about half of that.
@qpfc just take your BCAAs on the fasting day… you can use it other times of the week too.

great video, though one question, during the fasting day can you take a couple proteni shakes, also do BCAA’s work if you only take them one day a week ?? i thought you had to pop a couple every day

Hey not sure if this question has already been answered but on wednesday night after the 24 hour fast what would you eat. Would you go with the high protien, and fat, or go with the low fat and carb day for that meal.
@s33jay13 just begin the low carbs on that day instead of monday… i’ve tweeked it a bit since this video, so only one reload day is really necissary.

Hey Elliot, I was just wondering what you recommend as a post workout meal for the gironda inspired days. a protein/carb meal seems standard from all the info I have gathered over the past few years, but have also read about gironda being completely against carbs after a workout and would have pro/fat meal such as cream and eggs…stuff like that
